    Little-ann, What is the white flower in the first picture?

    Common name as little-ann says 'pretty bonnets' often used to be called 'granny's bonnets' but botanical name is 'Aquilegia'

    Nice pics Singy, it's great to see other people's flowers and gardens. Are your toms ouitdoors? mine are in the greenhouse, plenty of flowers but haven't set yet!

    One more as the colour on these is incredible, they are illuminous orange asiatic lily.  this is one of the first flowers I bought and couldnt remember what colour it was.

    Yes these have been out for about 6 weeks now, i dont have a greenhouse (2 plastic things) but ive been leaving the flap open for about a month. so its aglorified wind break.

    My dad is confused how everything is still alive to be honest, being a beginner i overwater, put things out before the last frost, plant everything to close and then fail to thin things out. just got my first crop of beetroot and radish was week before last. Up in lancashire for reference on the weather so its not warm by any means.

    lovely aquilegia LA, and those lillies are fabulous, mind, I wouldn't like to be trying to spot the lilly beetles on that!
