@ lalino.. thank you.. i cant grow anything up the trellis fencing... it is there as the wind howls across our garden up over teh cliff edge.. which in that picture is just 40ft metres from the top end panel you can see.. so anything growing up it would cause the fence to come down continously.. as my neighbour with their 7ft panel one keeps finding out each winter. basically i have my front wall the 5ft wide coastal path and then the cliff edge other side of that..
the little blue flowers are forget-me-nots... i love them.. they always add colour this time of year and look great with the red and yellow polyanthus.
chicky.. they are not a weed.. they were once given to a loved one or someone going away as a reminder of the giver.. hence the name "forget-me-not" and i love the story and the romance that goes with it i am a softy at heart really.
It worked! So here is the terrace (could do with a clean and tidy-up) to show all the little plants that seeded themselves between the stones. Bet if I'd tried to do it myself it wouldn't have worked!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Waht a difference a bit of sunshine makes. I suppose one 'advantage' of a long winter and late spring is that lots of flowers come at once!
Enjoying all the lovely pictures
Hi Flo - sent you a PM to let you know that the May GW mag is out - if you still want to take advantage of the 48 "free" lavender plants.
To get the lavender offer you need to put

in the address bar at top of page.
Thank you everyone who liked my "bride".
That looked a good tip - to upload the photos through photobucket. May give it a try tomorrow, see what happens. Too late now.

Thank you gardeningfantic, it's nice to see you and your garden still around these forums one year on.
gardeningfantic -you're right, forget me nots are not weeds - I chose the wrong word
.
However, I never planted them - they just came! Bit like the stinking hellebores and the aquilegias - which are also most welcome.
Didn't know the reason behind the name though - nice story
Going to try with photobucket. My garden is now looking springlike.
