Cheerypeabrain, your photos don't have white above and below and you can enlarge them by clicking on them, which is how it used to be. What did you do?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I have taken photos most years of the garden especially the white wisteria and the flowering time has always been within 2-3 weeks see how it goes this year but just want to say that the photos have been an inspiration I would have sent some of my hellebores BUT as I have been unable to do any gardening this year asked better half to cut the dead leaves from around my hellebore patch. On going out to see how they were looking saw only 1-2inch stumps and all my lovely hellebores in the compost bin!!! He said he thought they were dead and had to be cut down like the rest of the perennials! I know I have to label plants and weeds but!!!!!!!

Ooh yes, a name for the hellebore, it is so beautiful! Cheery PB, how about a competition for a name; you of course would be the judge.
What about "Purple Rain"?
I love these violas. Bought them as plugs last autumn.
And this is my new bed now it's almost done.
