If it's a huge problem, go with the flow. Try to grow things they don't like. Geranium, aquilegia, primroses ,valerian, rosemary.vinca, bay, marjoram. Oregano .nigella, Californian poppies, etc etc  e or grow stuff in pots until they're big enough  to look after themselves

    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Having a greedy chicken is good, she eats all the snails she can find but it means I can't use pellets. Try putting bran or cat litter around the plants. Bran is very cheap and no nasty chemicals and best of all IT WORKS!

We made a wildlife pond earlier in the year and now have baby frogs so hoping they grow big soon and eat the slugs and snails...

Went out the other night after a shower of rain, got 74 slugs and 6 snails with my trusty sawn off carving knife. No sign the following a.m. The blackbirds clean up the mess. As said before the most I've ever got is 404 in an hour, that's a few years agoimage
