Definitely a Staphylea, possibly S. bumalda as the fruit on this species has two cells and from your image all the fruits look as if they have two cells.  I think it is the only species within the genus that has a strictly two celled fruit, some often have a mix of 2,3 and 4 cells.  Having said all that the flower panicle does not look correct for this species, more like the commoner S. colchica.  Fruit apart I would go for S. colchica.

The Staphylea's are an underrated group of plants.

A great and possibly the best resource for most tree and shrub information is http://www.beanstreesandshrubs.org

  • I did message you. I found the Staphylea trifolia Linnaeus, which sounds identical. I hope you received my thanks.
