How do you clean old labels

    Also, I don't know about the UK, but here in France they are hideously expensive... I finally bought a big bunch online but I hope to hang on to them for a long time, because I'd rathr spend money on plants books and seeds than on new labels image

    I have been known to cut up margarine cartons when necessary though you have to use black markers on them!

    Like daydaisy I use a soft pencil and find that in a few months it fades so much they can be reused without doing anything to them

    I use a perma-marker for long term - but my dog likes to pull them up and chew them image

    Jif cream cleaner and a kitchen scourer
  • I use plastic spoons and permanent marker but I don't have a problem with reusing the marker definitely isn't permanent by next season I can never read the namesimage

    I just write over the smudge .
