how do you clean permanant marker off old labels

    Nail varnish remover does the job.

    I use lot soapy water and a Brillo pad. It's a job I quite like doing oddly!

    IPA or lighter fluid will also work.

    Soap and a plastic scourer.

    I use pencil on my plastic markers. It usually lasts the season and then is easily rubbed off with an eraser.

    but I agree with you Pauline - my local Asda sells them for buttons - and I get a discount too...image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
