Worried the pots will be stolen, try super gluing drawing pins to the underside of the rim on the pot, most effective, I've only ever lost one pot, when the thief came back for the second time they got a nasty shock and probably had sore fingers for weeks.
thats something to consider, all be it with all the blame culture these days you'd probably get sued by the thief . with my strawberry plants when should i switch them to bigger pots and feed them etc?
typical, i have had only 3 germinate out of 24 cells until today. a fourth has arrived, but not in one of the empty ones. no it arrived in one already occupied litterally right next to it. im sure it is another one rather than the same seedling. what do i do, let them fight it out or can both be saved?

At the point where you can see the roots coming through the bottom of the pot-so leave it for a few weeks
But get them outside in readiness if not already done so.
A regards feeding -do not go over board-use a high potash feed like tomato food to promote flowering and fruiting rather than leaf growth-but not yet
thanks there outside now in a sheltered posistion now. Im now thinking of putting them into a hanging basket. are there any pros cons to this?
The watering is the main thing -probably at least one a day
-at least they will be away from the slugs-hopefully

Just leave it- when they are big enough seperate them -do it now and you will lose both of them
cheers, is it a tricky procedure?
thanks
