image Aaw, reminds me of my little babies! But, they will stay tiny for ages, until it warms up.

Honestly I think you have made a fundamental mistake by sowing each seed individually- there is a lot of compost surrounding each seedling which is not goodimage-but I understand why you did itimage

You would have done better to sow them all in a pot and then prick out when bigger

There is not much you can do to speed them up I'm afraid just patience-but don't get down-hearted-we all learnt by making loads of mistakesimage

  • wish i'd done mine in september too but im all new to this gardening since i got my first house so i just went by what the label said. I'll be placing the pots outside the front of my house as that is south and my rear garden is north. any tips on how to prevent any thieves stealing my pots? hopefully that wouldnt happen but you can never be too careful.

  • cheers, slightyly off topic but i just bought some petunia seeds, would i be best sprinkling a few in each cellinsert like that then too?

    thanks

  • i just reread that would i be sprinkling a few petunia seeds in a small pot? i have been watching some videos onh youtube but they contradict what i have read elsewhere.

Here is a bit of a time scale on my daughters website David, but as you can see, it hasn't been updated lately. image But these are the ones I said are now your size.

First the pots-not much you can do other than chain them down -or electrify themimage

Now the petunias-sprinkle a few seeds across the surface -you will still need to prick them out when they are big enoughimage
