    It's not alkanet, but you know what? You guys are spot on,  it has the "borage look" about it... could it be Comfrey? Symphytum officinale, or uplandicum?

    Hi

    I am just wondering if it might be an Echium Pininana?  The leaves look similar, and the plant looks quite vigorous.  Just a thought.

    Not a salvia Rosie.

    My first thought was echium then I changed my mind. But I might change it backimage 

    I would have expected a basal rossette from last year.

    No doubt about the choisya

    I have some Echium Pininana seeds but can't remember sowing any. Unless i've lost my mind.image Its not clary as i've never seen or brought clary seeds before.

    I never grew Echium pininana, so can't say, but there are some pics of Echium pininana seedlings here for comparison, Voyage:

    I've seen that site Kath and the leaves look spot on. I just can't remember sowing any Echium pininanaimage.  Must have lol
