Do keep an eye out for slugs when the plants first appear though, because they love young bean plants. Danger is usually over by the time the first true leaves have appeared, because then the plants seem to get harder to chew .

Hi Logan, the picture doesnt show initally in the thread but after clicking on it i was able to see the picture..
Bob, Yes i hardened them for a week before, putting them outside in the day but in the garage when it was really windy.
Do you think there is any hope for them at all if i start covering them now?
