As a female driver who often drives 16 geared fire engines I would like it to be said that I don't think there's such a thing as women being better than men or something BUT
I'm not a nice person Verdun. You loose all niceness when you drive an eight foot wide vehicle down roads that people in their five foot wide cars think are designed more for parking than for letting other vehicles through.
I wanted to turn left into the entrance to the garden centre this afternoon. There was a cyclist, who, by my calculations, would be crossing the entrance as I turned in, so I indicated left, slowed down to a pace that would allow the cyclist to safely pass the entrance, and lo and behold, two cars veered out onto the other side of the road into oncoming traffic, to get past me. They were men.

Watch your back Verdun
there's a lot of us chauffeurs about
look at the cars not parked, but abandoned outside schools, esp primary schools, and wait to see the drivers come back and make the judgement then!!!
My lips are sealed
I must agree with Hosta - lots of fathers take their children to school nowadays.
