I was at BL's for a good few hours and the garden was looking absolutely glorious and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Took some pics will try & get them on later, really, really lovely day. Well done Lizzie and was great to meet Mattie too who has been very supportive I know. image

Thank you everyone. 56 people came, mostly English and a few French. Weather was OK, sun came out this afternoon, 20°, didn't rain. Plants were bought, not all, and lots of cake was eaten. Good to see you Dordogne Damsel and thank you for the cakes. I must give you your box back. Matty was great. The 56 don't include Matty and the helpers or my daughter and family (they were staying and helping), but my son came with wife and 2 friends and they all paid.

BL that sounds fantastic - so glad the weather held for you - the garden looks really lovely.

We had a French day here in honour of your garden - Pernod, lemon and tarragon chicken with braised lettuce and peas.  image

    Thank you.

Plant 4 is Gaillardia Cornetto Blaze from a French plug plant company. I think they have it in the USA.

    Clematis is "Multi blue".
