yes they are teeny but i bought the 72 plugs earlier in the year and all but two survived and grew well, the two that died were my overwatering. it is true i don't want all of them but the ones i do want out of the pack would have cost me more and i will put the others in the plant sale image

I've had two lots of plug plants from T&M delivered over the last few weeks (both were budget offers like above), and both sets were delivered in good condition. So far, after potting on and being left in the greenhouse for a couple of weeks, they all look healthy. I'm waiting until the weekend and, weather permitting, will be planting them out.

Maybe I've just been lucky so far but I have no complaints with the service or products as yet and as Lena says, for a fiver, it's worth the small gamble.

As for ending up with too many, that's no biggy as myself and the rellies have a bit of a plant, bulb and seed swap going on.

I also like the randomness of the offers. You never know from one week to the next what kind of plants will be offered up. Kind of a lucky dip, which is a great way to try growing things you may not normally go for if they were full price.

Hi sanjy67, I have bought so many of these my green house is brimming. I always use T+M, never had a problem. If you want more than one lot just do seperate orders for them. I do it on all the p+p offers.image

i thought i would give you a follow up on my order: My 48 perennials arrived within two days of postage and of the six campanulas, two were broken off at soil level and the leaves weren't in the packing but all the rest looked healthy and moist.

I wrote on T&Ms facebook page giving them my order number after not receiving an e-mail reply and was promptly answered. I was promised a replacement , expecting it in june as that would be next stock they said but they arrived this morning all present and healthy & not just the replacements but the whole 48 again !  so well done T&M

I have had a lot of plugs where you just pay postage from Thompson and Morgan, they have been fine, and free Raspberries Stawberries, Roses, again just postage, all excellent.

maybe not all of them will flower this year verdun but they will next year so i don't mind waiting, out of the 72 i had earlier in the year i only lost three and that was mainly because the greenhouse blew over and upended all the pots. they have all grown well.

these, although i hadn't planned on getting 72 and as you say not all are wanted but the ones i do want are cheap and will be worth when they grow on. The ones i don't want will go in the plant sale and i will buy bigger plants as you say for this year. I do buy full size plants but also get satisfaction from nurturing plugs and seeds too image
