Still very mild weather here in The Netherlands, and many plants seem to be getting a bit confused by it.
I saw daisies flowering in a lawn and I've heard that people have snowdrops in flower and even some katkins.
Here are the gardening programmes that I found during today's round of the web.
RBB Gartenzeit looks at tropical plants in the botanic garden in Potsdam, shows trendy succulents, the best holly varieties, mini orchids, and explains how to get your tools ready for winter.
And Jardins et Loisirs was at a cemetary. Featured plant is Tetrapanax Payrifer Rex. They also visited balconies to look at the plants you can grow there.
Grey and windy here at the moment, but also dry an not cold.
Here is today's harvest from the web.
Oklahoma Gardening has the following...
-Information on the Forestry Internship offered at OSU-Stillwater -A look at a Bioretention and Rain Garden Demonstration Project -Gardening tips for the month of November -Canellini Bean Soup
Fewer and fewer garden programmes on the web at this time of year, but this is what I managed to find today.
Garden Time has the following...
We look at winter interest conifers, we check out tips for the garden for November, there is a group that recycles flowers for hospice patients, we show you how to preserve poinsettia stems, we visit a holiday open house we show you a product that gets rid of lichens and moss with out you doing anything and we build a Christmas tree out of pallets.
And Making it Grow answers questions from viewers and has this...
Host Terasa Lott is joined by Gary Forrester, Mary Ridgeway, Dan Hill and Dr. John Nelson. Our studio guest is Drake Carroll from The SC Forestry Commission to talk about the Firewise project. Our feature segment is a visit to the Sumter County Oil Recycling Processing Center.
Silence, ça pousse ! looks at different varieties of chamomile, and their uses. They also look at plants and climate change, they visit the Le jardin d'Hauterive and they help someone with a garden problem.
The wind has died down again at the moment, and I really hope it will stay that way.
I hate gales!
Saturday again and that means Gardening Australia.
Here is what's in today's programme...
Salad Days: Jane visits chef and avid gardener, Matt Wilkinson, to see what's growing in his patch that inspires him to cook with fresh, seasonal produce.
Our Say: The Gardening Australia Team share their goals for the garden over summer.
Bringing the Outdoors In: Costa visits a family who have created a beautiful small garden that seamlessly integrates the indoors and outdoors.
Spice it Up: Sophie plants out a range of productive tropical herbs in pots, including ginger, galangal and lemongrass.
The Turkey Whisperer: Jerry meets an expert to find some strategies to enable scrub turkeys and subtropical gardeners to be friends rather than foes.
Get Ready for Summer!: Tino spruces up his backyard for the festive season ahead, including laying instant turf and planting pretty perennials for summer colour.
And, as usual, the programme should be available from around 12.00 here...
-A recipe for roasted vegetables with nuts, balsamic vinegar and basil -Tips for building a homemade ebb and flow bench -A tour of the Mesonet Station at The Botanic Garden at OSU
Querbeet shows how pine cones are harvested in Germany to grow new trees. They also show how to make flower arrangements for Christmas, a remedy against colds, and I think they too visited a garden in the UK. This one is West Green House.
