Yes Ginag. I shall be there. I try to go to both this and the Autumn show too. It's a cross between Chelsea and Hampton Court, but much more civilised.
Personally the BBC treats gardeners, of which we are numerous and snooker fans who are more than likely less numerous, as fools. They devote little time to the one sector of the economy which has grown even in the worst years of the recession. However there seems little point in complaining as the BBC doesn't listen and never has as far as gardeners are concerned. They are cutting back BBC3, so why not move the snooker there instead. This subject has been raised before and is ignored, so we'd better get used to being treated as second class licence payers.
Fritillary. Glad to have been of help . I really like that series, interesting with a baance of gardening and cooking. I also found it interesting to see how the garden has changed in the 15 years or so since the programmes were filmed. And seeing things like Monty pushing a whole weelbarrow full of tomatoes into the kitchen...

In case you need an extra dose of Monty Don, just go to YouTube and search for "Fork to Fork"
. It even has 6 episodes!
I was going to go to Malvern for the first time but work issues prevent it...
I think the gw episode this Friday will be at Malvern.
Thats why I mentioned it Gardenmaiden, perhaps we'll see Monty there!!

Monty pushing a wheelbarrow? Never seen that before.
The BBC log every phone call: how about the next time they cancel GW we all call them to complain?
Maybe the price of a phone call , collectively , might let them know how angry we are.
