The dangers of gardening
Two weeks ago I was potting up some plants in my garden. I walked across the garden and tripped over something. As I fell I thought lucky I am carrying something because when people fall and put their arms out to save themselves, they break their arms. As I hit the ground I heard/felt a pop. Wiggled my ankles, knees, hips and then realised I couldn't move my right arm. I managed to dislocate my right shoulder. I'm stuffed for doing much for the next couple of weeks

Bless you! Get well soon ((hugs))
I fell and broke my wrist last September - a total PITA!!! But at least it was autumn not spring - you must be feeling sooooooooo frustrated!!! Wish I could help ...
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Oh poor you. I've never broken anything (touch wood) but I've pricked my eye, once on a yucca and another time on a bag of compost. I looked liked a vampire both times.
Hope your shoulder is better soon.
Sorry to hear that...get well soon
Instal 3G astro grass as it helps you bounce back when you fall on it

Oh big sympathy! Dislocations can be very nasty as they damage alot of soft tissue. Did they reduce it quickly?
Tough time of year to be laid up, there is so much to do at the moment. Use friend and family sympathy to get some help with the hard labor.
Aw sorry to hear that, it should be a lesson to us all to be careful ... I put my back out with some over zealous weeding the other day... should have warmed up first lol
agony!
Dangerous place out there.
I think my worst was digging up a plant and disturbing a wasp nest. A wasp came at my face and stung me on the eyelid. Agony. It left the sting behind and OH pulled it out with a tool from the workshop, also unpleasant. I couldn't see for days, looked like I'd been in a fight.
I hope yours sorts out quickly Minos. and all other current sufferers
