I think female cucumber plants do sometimes have the odd male flower, especially if they're stressed for some reason. You need to remove the male flowers and definitely don't use them to pollinate the female flowers. Pollinated cucumbers apparently taste very bitter.
How do you tell the difference please.?
Female flowers have a little cucumber behind the flower, male ones don't
Thanks.
