I made a rhubarb and orange cake yesterday, it's all been eaten already so must've been good!! Recipe off bbc good food website; but I'm not clever enough to post a link sorry!!
I love rhubarb, tried to grow it at home and it died of a honey fungus infection from a nearby tree that had it. Got some on my allotment but as I moved its location, its a bit of a baby this year.
I often prepare mini crumbles in ramekin dishes and freeze those uncooked. Great for a quick dessert when you fancy a pudding. I tend to forget to label mine so it is often a surprise...Rhubarb? Gooseberry? Apple? All great!
