Sticky willy is the main problem weed of the moment here. At least that's easy to clear as the dogs like to eat it..
The bindweed at one of my allotments is RAMPANT No sooner do I stick the hoe in or pull up what I can see, within 24 hours, it's a couple of inches high again.
And that's AFTER digging up all the visible roots to two spade depths

Isn't it very early in the year for bindweed? I normally don't see it appearing till june/july, but i'm in the north east.

My field bindweed is popping up, this is the fourth year of my battle. You wouldn't believe the amount of roots for an established plant.
