    This morning there were pairs of bluetits all over our several honeysuckles, simply hoovering up the aphids ... presumably building up their strength for the breeding season ... I hope the forecast cold snap doesn't kill off too many aphids ... the bluetits had a disastrous nesting season last year because the late frosts killed off the little green caterpillars on the oak trees.   :'(

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
