A word of caution here. I can't use FF&B because the dog can't resist it and I had a few new plants dug up a few years ago. I have just used compost and for the first time this year FYManure. Hope your dogs are better behaved
Sorry, Labradouble, should have said farm yard manure - FYM. I've bought it in bags from the garden centre (GC - as it's referred to round here). Our dog is not at all interested in it, thank goodness. Hope your two are doing OK. Ours' is just a pup at three and a half. They are wonderful dogs. loopy, intelligent and friendly..
I used to use chicken pellets in my old garden, it was 1/3 acre. Now I have a postage stamp surrounded by a 6 ft fence I don't think I could bear the smell!
