I know, I followed instructions it didn't say to plant in pots inside.  I guess I'll just  have to wait and see.  If you can Verdun, can you post a picture of one of yours coming through the ground.  I'll know what to look for.  Have no idea what they look like when they emerge.  Someone post a pic but I think it was seeds not a rooted plant.  (it wasn't blue boa).

I've just seen this post, I bought some blue boa today.  Would it be worth me trying to take some cuttings ? They came in 9cm pots.

I bought some Blue Boa and Black adder after seeing it at Hampton Court, Bees were on it in about 2 minutes from putting it in.

    Any special advice ?

Hi Verdun, thank you for this.  It is just my Blue Boa that is in 9cm pots, so maybe I need to dig them back up and pot them on for a bit.  The Black adder was actually 1 litre pots, so hope they will be okay.  We are on light sandy soil in Surrey, so I'm hoping they will survive our winters as so free draining.

Thank you for your advice. image

Hi Verdun, I'm back from holiday and so am planning on doing the cuttings of my blue boa.  All of the shoots have flowers on them ? I'm thinking though that i should be looking for stems that don't have flowers.  Is that correct ?

Am off to buy some perlite too ? My cuttings never suceed unless I put them in the gel, which seems to be fairly idiot proof, so I shall be trying both and see which works best.
