I've got hedychium and colocasia growing in the breakfast room , OH isn't too happy, hey ho.

Also sowed hedychium seeds in late Jan, no signs yet , even though they've been in the heated bench since then.image

I split 5 , 2 year old clumps of cannas on Saturday ,and now have 64 plants.

Might select a few dahlias to split, but I've got about 200 , so they're not all going to be done.

My banana survived the winter in the tunnel and I've sown 24 ricinus seeds.

    Devon.

Ryan, you can get those Bat plants in seed form. I'm sure they're pretty easily available.

  • Ryan, Hostafan is correct I got seed from T&M £5.00 for four seeds but I got them when they were doing a deal of any ten pkts for £10 image so got about £35 worth of there more expensive seed of plants I wanted, and this one for a bit of fun.

Reading the instructions can take up to a year to germinate at 77F and humid so will start them off in about May.image

I might open a separate thread when I do sow them with  pictures and regular reports or not depending how long they take to germinateimage

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Ryan Venus flytraps are native to North Carolina which came as a bit of a surprise. They like a cold winter. I thought they would come from some amazing tropical forest. I guess as they are close relatives of the UK native sundew it kind of makes sense. Look forward to the thread TGB , I ordered a pack of seeds yesterday after seeing the picture you posted. image
