We used to chase the sunshine in cornwall when we holidayed there when the the children were little. We stayed in Bodmin and often when it was sunny on one coast it was raining on the other. We were generally very lucky with the weather and people at work used to ask when I was taking my leave so they could book the same weeks.
Although I'm in the south I have been waiting for the new season with BG I'm looking forward to the new greenhouse feature Jim is always so enthusiastic it's catching. I expect I'll watch this episode again before next Thursday.????????
I'm a bit technodumb (whoever put this word in gardening dictionary?) But have only just found Thursday evening s prog on BBC Scotland didn't know I could get it on freeview .Yes it's repeat showing will be watched in the deep south on Sunday if the BBC don't prioritize political broadcasts???

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Susan, that 'sunshine' wasn't evident when I holidayed there, in June many moons ago.

Anyone notice in last nights programme that they now have completely new gardeners working on the garden?
I know it's been said before, I when is it repeated "down South"? Sunday morning?
I've just googled the first episode date: June 16th 1978. I remember watching it.
