Don't know what happened to the "The Beechgrove Potting Shed" on the wireless. I suspect either ageism, delocalisation (Glaswegification) of BBC local services or the budget was blown on gaelic programming and football.

The return of Beechgrove is indeed good news. I've been watching it for a few years, and I enjoy everything about it.
Beechwood always seems aimed at the ordinary gardener whereas GW can, on occasion, seems to lose that contact.
