Fab, I was thinking of getting the wildlife attracting plug plants.

There is a thread somewhere called The Good Guys that has loads of posts about good and bad suppliers, it might be worthwhile taking a look, there are some good recommendations on there and it's a good place to post any comments regarding bad suppliers.  If I can find it Ill bump it up.

Thanks folks.  I have found their catalogue very seductive but I should have know better than to order from them as I have had some poor small plants.  I agree that their bulbs are usually fine.  I returned the tiny dead rooted pieces of Helenium Ruby Tuesday asked for a refund and  was sent another pack  of the same.  I have to return them for refund.  £5.99 an absolute rip off.   I have had better plants and shrubs from Aldi and Morrisons.    Excellent quality  a good size and very reasonably priced.  Parkers have lost a customer and I will warn my gardening friends not to order from them.

I have bought perennials form Unwins - the large plugs usually sold in 3's and had no problems.

Have had issues with Suttons in the past though

Needed bread on my way back through Weymouth a couple of weeks ago so visited Morrison's.  Came out with a trolleyload of plants they were selling off, all in good order.  Then I remembered I'd done something similar some years ago, Morrison's again but Bridport.  All did very well. Waitrose in Dorchester have now got plants supplied by Crocus, you have to walk past them to get into the store which is costing me!!!!!
