    Loudmouthed and ready to pick a fight......

    Isn't this always the way with divas?

    Love robins. Personally, would have gone with the skylark.

    Hail to thee, blithe Spirit!
    Bird thou never wert,
    That from Heaven, or near it,
    Pourest thy full heart
    In profuse strains of unpremeditated art.

    Higher still and higher
    From the earth thou springest
    Like a cloud of fire;
    The blue deep thou wingest,
    And singing still dost soar, and soaring ever singest.

    "What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".
  • Have now got a robins nesting in garage with one egg in nest so far.

    As I get up at 5am and open the garage large door wonder if this is ok for it or should should I leave a window open ? Security is good no problem with unwanted people.I suppose one stays out all night and then replaces the other when the doors open so doing  the sitting in shifts?

    Has anyone got practical advice having had robins in garages, etc please.

    I agree, leaving a window open would be best. Then when the babies are born the parents can go and get food when they like.

    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
