  • We use the Gardman Parisian as shown in your pics, Marlorena, 3 different sizes, excellent quality, ideal for clematis / rose combos.

Good picture of your clematis x durandii, 2nd picture, excellent clematis.

Also we use lots of tripods made up of hazel twigs, this is how this clematis Elvan is supported.

Clematis John Treasure and Hagelby Blue also grow up hazel tripods.

Thanks Richard, and such beautiful photos.   A great way to grow them giving an unfussy, natural look..

No hazel here but we do have some very tall bamboo which might work.

Lovely photos Marlorena and Richard.  Thank you.

My problem is i have a small garden and i need atleast 12-15 obelisks. and then further 10 or so climers will supported on walls, shrubs, treestumps etc. i can go for max of 2-3 different types after that it might look odd. Anyway i have upped the budget and obelisk between £25-40 would be ok.

I am thinking some of these parisian ones and some gap ones i posted link. any more feedbacks, really appreciated.

Have you thought about a pergola structure instead of a line of obelisks?
