The hedgehogs return.

Last night my trail cam captured the first hedgehog to visit my garden this year. Not seen one since late November.

So pleased as I am a bit of a hedgehog nut!!

How lovely! I wish we had a hedgehog, used to but he disappeared. I wonder if Dove's will be back this year.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

No sign of Hefty and his friends yet, but I've put out his dish of fresh water and there's some food out waiting for him.image

Been finding little presents around the garden for the last couple of days, so knew they were back here too. image

Mine were back last night. I heard some rustling the other night when I was checking out my pond with a torch (best time to see newts etc..) although I am sure my neighbours thought I'm abit mad!!! However my instinct was right and an adult hog visited which I started feeding again...

I had 3 asleep in the hog house the other day:-

...and as for the little presents they leave all over the patio seems like there is an army of hedgehogs out there!!!!!
