How do i grow cascading Lobelia from seed?

    They moved on a lot in the few days after the picture was taken, thought best get them in the baskets image

    Thanks guys, and WUW gemma they look fab!

    Yes weather here is improving but i feel its still a bit to cold for them to be going outside, when they get to Gemma's size i will put out in cold frame and pot up.

    For next time how did you manage to get them so even? i tried my best but with seeds being soo tiny i didn't do so well lol!

    I will keep you all posted on the progress of mine to check that they are doing as they are meant to lol!

    Thanks for all the help guys! doubt they'd get even this far without your help lol

    The trick to getting them even is to cheat.

    I buy Supaseeds by Suttons which are coated and easy to put around six or so in each module of the tray. image

    They are a bit more expensive and you get a lot less seeds per packet, but the even growth is worth it. More than enough in a packet of each variety for my needs. image

  • The cold wont harm them unless it is frosty but the fresh air will keep them healthier and help to prevent disease .
