Ok Well i havn't been watering them, there just sooking up the water from the material underneith - I have been checking them daily n' think OMG are they never going to germinate?!?! then today i gets a surprise
Do these look ok? There still in my propigator in my window, since this pic i have turned them, to encourage them to grow straighter. what size do i take them out and re pot?
You could put them out side now but they will need protection from frost or heavy rain as it will flatten them. I split up the clumps when i plant mine.
Have you got your tubs ready yet as they grow quite quick.
I wouldn't put such tiny seedlings outdoors yet. Lobelia is a half hardy annual and Lucy has stated that she is in the highlands of Scotland and doesn't get good weather until the end of April.
Wait until you start to see the true leaves and pot them on in clumps for bushy groups of plants rather than singly. Blue Onion's tea spoon tip sounds good for minimal root disturbance.
I agree it is too soon for them to be disturbed, and not ready to be outside. Mine are a good two inches tall which is why I planted them in the baskets yesterday. The baskets are staying indoors today, far too chilly outside for them.
I would let them grow on a nice sunny windowsill for a good few weeks yet.
