Problems with GW website

Is anyone else having problems with the GW website.  Each page is taking about 2 minutes to load up, which means I can't read the forum or look up anything.

I spilt coffee on my laptop a few weeks ago and it has been sent off to be cleaned.  the trouble started after that.

All other web pages are loading up fine.

Just wondered if it was a problem with the website at the moment.  I miss catching up on the forum. image

What a pain. I haven't noticed any problems with this particular site. Have you tried resetting your wifi router?

No. How do you do that ?
  • I have just had problems getting onto the site because Virgin was down. It seems ok now though

Peanuts, my router has a reset button somewhere on it. I press it in for a few seconds and then release it. Hopefully, if you're with Virgin like Fruitcake is, it may be okay now anyway.

Thank you. Unfortunately it has been like this for a few days. Will look on the router. Thank you

Let me know if you can't find it Peanuts - I will try to help. I know how frustrating it is when one of your favourite websites won't work!

  • I also had to reset my router the other day and struggled for ages to find where the button was- turns out is was where it says "Virgin media" so that might help

Mine is a BT router, it is clearly marked 'Restart'

Thank you. We have a virgin super hub. Have pressed the button which says virgin media and held it down but not much has happened. There is a reset thing, but looks like you have to put a paper clip in it to get it to work, which looks like easy to mess up.

Will wake up my husband in Ireland later on and ask him.
  • I have this slow loading problem of GW too. I also have Virgin Super Hub with a 50 Mbps broadband connection...all other sites are loading normally.

Over the last couple days I've also had the 'Internet Explorer is not responding' problem, but I think that's a separate issue.
