  • Yes I remember GN provided 2 packs of different seeds sometimes to certain stores, however I found this rather frustrating at times as being a subscriber I only received one on each. Petty I know but it still bothered me lol

I've not had a chance to sow them yet, been waiting on a lift to the GC to get some seed compost, fingers crossed I'l be able to get some next week image

Look like hollyhock ('majorette') seeds to me.

Plants don't look like hollyhocks to me.

  • Lunaria Seeds definitely look like hollyhock seeds to me, but the plants not

sure you have not mixed up what went in the pots? did you so any other seeds at the same time?

I subscribe to the mag - what there were more seeds on non subscriber ones, I thought you meant that sometimes there was one pack and sometime two,  hope they don't do that again not fair on subscribers

NGCARDS  get your compost from   http://www.marshalls-seeds.co.uk/search-results.html?fq=seed+compost     I did it arrived with in a few days I went for the grow sure bags - supper fast delivery

No its that seed. I only did them and if I had mixed them up something else would be looking like a hollyhock. Also I remember they looked odd when I went to pot them on. I parted them and you could see them growing out of the seed. I showed my husband because he thought the same. I will just have to keep growing and see what happens.

  • Keep us up dated on them

  • It's almost as exciting watching everyone else's seeds germinate as watching my own!   I'm  waiting for Sweet peas, Bidens, Delphinium, Brachycome (why do some places call it Brachyscome?), and tr. Lobelia.   The Lobelia was a pelleted seed and such a joy to work with compared to regular seed.   I could actually see where I was putting it!   But how on earth do they pellet such a small seed?   Maybe there are a few dozen seeds inside each pellet?
