Hi Folks, Popped out with the camera today and took the following
Sorry about the bird poo. All these are self seeders from 1 primrose planted about 10ft away, every year they increase.
Camelia doing its usual thing.
Anemone Blanda, a fairly recent edition to the garden.
Have always loved the combination of heather and daffs.
These are the hyacinths purchased using the wyvale voucher in the mag. They are growing through the grape hyacinths in the front garden and smell divine when you walk past on the path.
A Hellebore purchased from Ashwoods, no idea of the name but this year it has been plastered in flowers.
One showing that ivy needn't be a thug. This has been in the garden since we moved in nearly 6 years ago and I've only had to pull up a few tendrils heach year to keep it in check.
Beautiful Magnolia, my Magnolia 'Betty' is still in bud and will be for weeks yet. I don't know the names of the daffodils as they were from a friends garden.
Joybell I LOVE that White Daffodil!! Would love a few of those in my garden
I have a very small garden, its a rented property so i am restricted on what i can physically do , but here is a few photos of it and of a couple of the flowers that have popped up so far this year
The Pots on the Fence will have Cascading Lobelia in them, can be hung in or out of the garden.
The 2 layered planter has Snowdrops, Iris, Crocus, daffodils, Sparaxis, Tulips, Allium, Anenome De Caen, Gladiolas, Lily, Primula's, Lewisa Little Plum, Delosperma Nubigenum, Nerium Oleander and i'm sure a few others i have forgotten about
I have my veg box by the house with the cold frame, has Garlic in it at the moment. other side of the door is a 'Pink Perfection' Clematis with a Honeysuckle growing up with it. (both got a big haircut lol)
On the Canes in pic 2 I am trying to Train a Fusia bush up off the ground (has anyone tried this?) - due to dog using this as a poo plant....
last photo of some snowdrops in the woods that i rather like
That's lovely Lucy, like the idea of the pot hangers on the fence, we've got a similar fence in our back garden that could benefit from some of those. Those big planters are amazing.
Last year for me was all major construction jobs renovating the garden after a six year break, this year the flowers return. I will be glad when I can post up some pictures of a garden with flowers rather than a building site, still a lot to do this spring and summer though.
Thanks I made all the planters myself The pots on the fence is a hope, as the fence is completely rotten, so i am hoping that it will manage the weight of these small pots... I look forward to seeing your garden too
