Flumpy I've never been to Harewood House passed it on our travels maybe look next time, my Hubby would have loved the classic car rally's !
Thanks Verdun thought there was remember my sister mentioning she'd bought some, although she was trying to turn a white hydrangea blue! I said I'm pretty sure its just used on the pinks, hydrangeas are something I've not grown well except for my petiolaris which has really taken off this year its to the top of the lounge window and grown round a corner lol, I noticed our neighbour had a blue one so thought I'd try a couple more, so many gorgeous ones now aren't there?

Thanks Verdun, I will pop them in a greenhouse when the frosts come and plant out next Spring.
Lovely pix as always here - great looking dahlias Lyn. I'm not really a fan but I love the perfection of the arrangement of the petals.
I love that hoverfly's name Bob. I think when I'm older, I might change my name to that...
Just call me Volucella...has a certain ring to it....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Kathy that is a lovely colour on your Hydrangea.
Beautiful flowers Lyn, the view is stunning, lovely Lobelia, I lost mine last year, you have some really beautiful Dahlia's.
Lovely photos everyone. I replanted the front garden pots the weekend. This is what I went for, two of the same under the bay window.
They are lovely Yvie, good combination.

Lovely garden Lyn and what a view you have !
I quite like these two aspects of my garden:
First flower on Passiflora 'Crimson Tears', this one isn't hardy and lives in a huge pot in our sunroom, often has flowers at Christmas
Berkely that's a fabulous grass! Do you know which it is?
