I had that Thalictrum too chicky, and it had support from other plants so it was fine. I particularly like the buds - like mini bunches of grapes. I bought the white one last year which seems a little more feeble, but it has other plants around it too so I'm hopeful that it will improve a bit.

Finally the box hedge has been cut and it looks the better for it!
thanks to a fellow forum member we are now treating it with a chemical recommended, and cleaning out the base, as long as there isn't any heavy snow this winter we may see improvements!!

Hi Andy19, sorry for not replying to you sooner. Its a Godetia, not sure which one as I grow them from the seeds that I harvest from the previous years flowers.
