I'm inordinately proud of my Wonky Womble image

Wintersong - the climber over the shed is a Mermaid climbing rose - it was too rampant for my last garden so we cut it down to about a foot and OH dug it up - the rootball must have weighed a ton (well, I exaggerate, but ... ) we transported it to Wonky's house in a tarpaulin in the back of the car and she dug a hole in the pouring rain and planted it and looked after it - that was probably about 5 or 6 years ago - and it's obviously very happy in it's new home - when it's in flower it's an absolute picture - covered all summer with huge single roses of a glorious yellow with deep golden stamens - and it's a fantastic intruder deterrent on that boundary!!! The thorns are huge and savage image

It's good to see Flatface on the road to recovery - even if he does have a somewhat piratical appearance - Aha Jim lad

How lovely that we have these stories and memories attached to our precious plants and the time we spend with them. Obviously,  daughter has huge potential and the best of teachers imageimage

Thanks Dove and Winter image yes the birds love to hop through the rose, quite safe in there, it why I made that corner the bird feeding station! Yes Flatface is much improved! And very happy as resident shedcat! And Harrie is loving spending time in the garden and learning how to be a cat!

Dove I'm going to have to enlist your help to thin the Iris, Winter has her name down too! Too delicate job for a newbie! image

Love what you've created there Wonkyimage  Won't be long before the gaps start filling with flowers, but in the meantime you can be proud of the freshly weeded beds.....very satisfyingimage

I think my garden is miles behind everyone else's...still on wallflowers, late daffs and tulipsimage

Wonderful pictures though - very jealous of the geums! Beautiful white and pink clem - always like seeing pics of Wintersong's gardenimage

Wonky Womble glad to see your stray is recovering - how kind of you to take care of himimage Got some inspiration from the brick paths/edging you have and think I will attempt something similar with my brick collection...
