Positioned"Morris dancing poles" poles last week to add some height to the border..!!...Very little space left for planting....Stained them and added the finials......will plant tall Gladioli around their bases when the weather warms up.
Really like that meadowland - what a clever mix of shrubs
Finally got to watch your videos paullypaul, the first kept freezing when I initally tried to watch it. Be great to see your dahlia display What is that interesting grey tree to the left of the bench?
Meadowland, that looks great. I can see how much effort and thought has gone into it. What is the red, yellow and green shrub to the left of the pole in the second picture?
Not sure Victoria. There is no bench in the front garden. Unless you mean my vid of the back garden in which case its a birch. In the front garden there is a rectangular pruned conifer which might look like a bench if your screen is small. In that case its a tree grown from a seed brought back by my sister from New Zealand in the 1970s. Only my Mum knows what it is called and I'll ask her

Love the use of shrubs Meadowland - there is an art to what you've done. I couldn't do that.
It is in the back garden Paullypaul - caught my eye because of the shape.
