    Beautiful Davidimage  Fingers crossed the frosts stay away for a few nights.  I havea big Magnolia about to burst into flower, soI will be holding my breath for the next few weeks tooimage

    Thanks, Lizzie.....posting this, as the flowers have opened quite a lot since I took the previous one this morning.

    To add some perspective, the fence behind the camellia is just under 2m high (6ft) and the summerhouse to the left rather higher.

  • I've been delighted with the way our cherry in the front garden has blossomed. We only bought the house last summer so getting lots of surprises so far. We've got another cherry in the back garden which is just about to start flowering. If it looks half as beautiful I'll be happy.

    My nan has a camellia which is nowhere near that big but has been in flower for ages. She gets so many compliments on it.
