Lots of good advice above. I tried sweet pea Cupid last year and loved it: proper sweet pea perfume on dwarf, slightly trailing plants with small flowers in several pretty sweet pea colours. Its going to be a regular on my list from now on.
GG - lobelia - begonia - petunia - nasturtiums - verbena - pelegoniums - fuchsia - sweet peas and many more all have trailing variety's. could try creeping jenny for foliage or ivy
Edd the morning glory said good for hanging baskets so trying it hope it works had the seeds for a bit and only used a few
Hoping to get them big enough plants by end ish of April to go to the container talk at Hillier and get free compost to see if I can make the hanging baskets up for a lot cheaper than normal
Thanks Baza - I am going to do nasturtiums in another basket and marigolds
I was poundstretcher earlier. I picked up a pack containing 2 biodegradable round mats full of seed designed for hanging baskets. You just plant and water. I've never used them before. I'm not expecting much, but I decide to give them a shot. Has anyone tried them?

I know someone who tried them, they were fine, but not brilliant.
