Maybe best left then. I have moved mine they were ok, you dont have many options really, if you want to keep them, dont want to move them and are fed up with them flowering, what is the option?
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I bought 2 alstomeria in late summer last year, planted them in the open garden where they flowered for several weeks.
One has disappeared so far, but the other one died back and has produced new growth already. Unless you have commercial facilities, it is difficult to force plants into a growth pattern different to their natural pattern. It usually involves a lot of dedicated hard work ie chrysanthemum and dahlia control for Show flowering times. Dyalight hours etc. etc.
You just have to watch container grown plants and when they show signs of weaker growth or non flowe production, you have to take steps to give them a boost, repotting, better feed routine, pruning etc.
I saw a beautiful lavender alstromeria in a bouquet, tried to buy it but the grower said it had breeders rights on it and was not available for resale. He grows them for the cut flower market. I am still waiting for it to be available to the public.

Most probably, it is nice to see some colour in the GH though at this time of year
I have grown mine in in a raised planter on a sunny south facing patio so no bending they grow really quick and don't like to be disturbed.
