Gosh! I would be absolutely thrilled if something just kept growing especially when they had been frosted several times, what sort of help do you need, if you really dont want them, just put them out in the open garden or in the compost bin,

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • I wondered if I cut them down  would they have a dormant period before growing again in the summer the wife has been picking  flowers since may last year, or do I just leave them to do their  own thing thanks.

Do they do well in pots?  I understood they can be invasive so have hesitated to plant them in the ground so far.

  • I have a lovely one in a pot, flowered well early in the summer before one day's amazing hail ripped it to shreds!

    FInally flowered again in September.

Has gamely been trying again but the frost is quietly beating it into sumission.

  • I have one in a pot that I've had for almost 2 years and it hasn't stopped flowering image
