Poorly Rubber Plant

image

Hello, can anyone help me with my poorly rubber plant?  It's been watered but not overwatered, I can't see any sign of bugs or anything but in the last few weeis it has gone like this! It is still growing as there are new shoots.  Any ideas anyone??  Thanks.

Let it dry out and check the soil its in and repot in fresh compost. It might work, it might not.

  • I was thinking of repotting it tomorrow, I've never seen this happen to a houseplant before image Thanks GM, I wasn't sure if anyone would still be up.

  • But quite often it goes quite later at night Edd so I wasn't expecting a response until morning.

  • Ive tried it before Edd and couldn't do it......you have a PM by the way.

  • Oh dear SL your plant does look poorly, is it in a draft or could it be pot bound image

Hi SL image  your plant looks to me as if it may have got too cold - has it been in an unheated room or conservatory during the cold snap?

SL have you checked that no one has chewed through the stem image

  • Hi think Dove may have a point, it is in the dining room which isn't always heated as we don't use it every day, although we haven't had much cold weather up here it may have affected it.

I don't think its pot bound, but am repotting it later anyway.

    Thanks everyone image
