I have one (sown this summer) outside in the ground looking magnificent despite not flowering yet. The others are in pots in the coldframe and look miserable... I am hoping to plant them in the spring but they aren't very good specimens.

I dug up some of my larger seedlings today after reading this and I have to say they are a bit of a twisty mess out of the ground...I suppose that's the only way to get bigger plants though?
This is the first year I've grown them so it'll be interesting to see if the others survive the winter...

I've had some very pale yellow but never white. Thinking back they might have been C. glabra rather than C. major.
