4. How did the dandelion get its name? And what is its appropriate name in French?
5. The French for ‘thought’ gives its name to what common flower?

1. Dalliance, Disraeli and Devon are all linked to which wild flower?

Chestnut’s only good they say

Well done @pansyface , I think that was the only one I didn't know. I was thinking Penstemon (penser = to think, I think!) but it didn't seem quite right somehow.

The Peace rose isn't called Peace in France, which is where it was grown by Meilland's son, Francois. It is called Mme A. Meilland, after his mother.
