I haven't been to Barnsdale yet, still hope to one day.
This is a hard question, so many lovely gardens. I love Great Dixter, but just for roses it has to be David Austin in June. Then there is my favourite RHS one, Rosemoor, but I haven't been to Hyde Hall yet (next year). Breezy Knees garden in North Yorkshire was a wonderful surprise. Hoping to go to Beth Chatto's next year. Loved Trebah in Cornwall with its wonderful jungly walk down to the sea.
It was a good day Beaus Mum, we've had some great trips this year, starting with the snowdrops in February. Now it's almost time to be planning the 2015 snowdrop trip

Oh and another favourite is Waterperry, just gorgeous, especially when the delphiniums are out.
Helmsley walled garden is right near me (and I go regularly),
but my favourite is Alnwick Gardens, a good 2 hour drive for me but I've been twice this year alone.
I love Helmsley too but I think my all time favourite has to be Great Dixter. It was a long trip but well worth it.
That's a shame Susan
Loved the link though nut, really enjoyed looking at all your pics, looks beautiful and sounds like you had a wonderful day

What a beautiful memory Susan
I look forward to you arranging some trips a bit more down south Nut
Where will the snow drops be that you visit?
Yet to be decided Beaus Mum. Last year we went to Anglesey Abbey. Some people went to Hodsock (aka Oddsocks) Priory.
Panda went to both
We had the best weather
