I've been giving a neighbour a lift to work and back all week. He normally cycles the 6 miles in but the rain has been torrential. There were hailstones bouncing of my windowsill yesterday. Today the trees were swaying madly. But I did manage an hour of gardening one lunchtime when suddenly everything stopped being difficult and the sun came out. Didn't last long though but I did get quite a lot done.
I shall shortly be swimming to my gates to open them so poor old postie doesn't have to stand in the rain fiddling with the bolts. Incredibly wet in Suffolk.
.... and it just got worse as I'm typing. Expect garage floor to get wet - again
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Just wait till it snows.
You'll be the first to know Dave. I'll PM you the first flake I see

Thanks Nut although I think we will see it first near the welsh borders.

Absolutely throwing it down here. Garden is like a bog, large puddles in some parts on the grass. Looks like last years winter
