    Thanks SGL. Really pleased it worked out well for me.Loath conflict situations, have had enough of them at work. Gardening is my sanctuary-me time.

    Perhaps I have a devious mind but maybe some crafty so and so passing by found the letter and thought 'I'll have that plot then', took the letter, paid (by pretending to be the original, his name would have been on the letter) and now the committee have realised none of it was as they thought.  Pleased you've got it though and saves a lot of hassle.  Enjoy the relief and the bplot

    You have an interesting theory Dorset UK, its a mystery. I could find out what actually happened by going to the BBQ/bonfire this Saturday courtesy of mgt. Its a sort of get together to welcome the new allotmenteers.

    The extra place FGirl will probably be a mini orchard. Yes I'm really pleased as punch.
