S.Yorks, weather going in cycles ( no pun intended Dove ) dark, howling wind and tipping down rain, then few minutes later sun and light rain but still very windy. Making me dizzy
hardly any rain over night here on the Durham/North Yorkshire border, clear blue sky's from just after sunrise, its a little blowy, but the wind was worse on Sunday!
Been really windy here Lancashire since very early hours, went to bed at 3.30ish ( i am an owl ) back up at 6.30 with the sheer roar of the wind, cant sleep after its windy fearing for the Greenhouse. My sunflowers are still standing though , they are a bit bare odd stem broke.

Just had a spectacular thunder clap; thought the roof was caving in
But now it's sunny, blue skies and fluffy bits
Very windy, intermittent rain and sunshine and the odd hailstorm for good measure here (10 miles east of Liverpool).

Just glorious here now! Reading previous posts we have been very lucky.
however clear skies only mean one thing at this time of year. Think I will light the fire early
hope everyone ok and not too much damage in the gardens it just looks such a mess out there
